Videos taken by Members and made publicly available.
Most Videos are
filmed in HD-format. The original films are often very
high quality and the originals well worth viewing,
especially if you are playing a starring role!!.
To be
able to stream Video over the internet there is a
considerable reduction in video resolution. Contact Angus
for the Videos on the DSDC servers and the named
individuals where they have been uploaded to other sites .
When viewing streaming Videos from DSDC we recommend
that you view in the original screen size. If you put your
media player onto full screen mode what you will see is
very blurry.
From April 2010 there is an option
to use "progressive download" instead of streaming. This
takes longer as the streaming server does not adjust its
output -but will deliver a much higher video quality. If
progressive download is available it is the green coloured
title.. Note i have found that progressive download will
only work on Internet Explorer. If you are using Chrome
etc you will have to wait for full download before it will
play.
