Hiya All,
well the cyclone put paid to any ideas of diving so I hope you all had a great weekend occupying yourselves in different ways :-(
This coming Friday our lovely ex-Supreme Stuart has offered to take Sanaf out from Dubai... sign-ups tomorrow night at 8pm as usual.
Steve Harris is still drumming up business for Fast Boats and Dhows - please let him know if you're interested. The water in the Musandam is a perfect temperature and the visibility has been great. Whalesharks and Mola Mola have been spotted so grab the chance whilst you can.
On another note EDA (Emirates Diving Association) are showing the Sea Shepherd film "Shark Cull" tomorrow night - details below:
EDA MOVIE NIGHT WITH VOX CINEMAS
THE SHARK CULL – A SEA SHEPHERD DOCUMENTARY
Sea Shepherd Dubai and EDA are hosting a screening of 'The Shark Cull', a Sea Shepherd documentary on the Western Australian shark cull, exposing the brutal cruelty of the controversial program that took place off the WA Coastline last summer. This explosive documentary on the Western Australians drum line policy is a must see for anyone interested in the protection of sharks and marine conservation.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about Sea Shepherd's current campaigns throughout the world, sign up as an on shore volunteer here in Dubai, get your latest Sea Shepherd Merchandise and lots more!
WHEN: Monday, 15th June, 2015
WHERE: VOX Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates.
TIME: 19:00 Registration | 19:30 Documentary Begin
For those that are considering bringing young children, please note that there are scenes of sharks being shot with a powerhead and being brought onto a boat ramp bleeding. Parental guidance and viewer discretion is advised.
We look forward to seeing you all. Please register yourselves by email.
Have a great week,
The EDA Team

Please go and support this if you're able. It's a harrowing film but we all need to be active in preventing the massacre of sharks globally.
Hopefully catch up with you tomorrow evening. Cheers, Chris
